If you are writing about a possible engagement, the most useful first message says what your business does, what part of the week eats the most time, and roughly how many people are involved. That is enough to say whether this is a fit before either of us spends an hour on a call. If it is not a fit, you will get told so plainly.

A discovery call is thirty minutes and there is no pitch deck. You talk, and the map that comes out of it is where your time goes, what currently lives only in your head, and what a system would draft first.
Answering the intake questionnaire first is optional and takes about eight minutes. It makes the call roughly twice as useful, because the mapping is already half done when it starts.
